Vita minor Procopii is an authentic early medieval Latin source of Bohemian origin, probably from the 11th century. It is a very important part of the source chain documenting the beginning of the Bohemian medieval regnum and the time of the founding of the earliest Bohemian monasteries. It testifies to the time of Christianization of Czech society and its permeation by the new Christian culture. The study disputes the current efforts of some historians to question the dating of this source and its primacy in the series of the so-called Procopian legend.
