Edice výňatků z latinské knihy Tomáše Pešiny z Čechorodu Ucalegon Germaniae, Italiae et Poloniae – Hungaria flamma belli Turcici ardens z r. 1663 s úvodem, komentářem a překladem do češtiny. V této publikaci Pešina apeluje na panovníky křesťanského Západu, aby se sjednotili v boji proti Turkům a pomohli napadeným Uhrám. Tento apel nápadně v mnohém připomíná výzvy ukrajinského prezidenta Zelenského ke sjednocení Západu a k pomoci Ukrajině proti agresi Ruské federace v r. 2022.

An edition of excerpts from the Latin book Ucalegon Germaniae, Italiae et Poloniae - Hungaria flamma belli Turcici ardens by Thomas Pessina of Czechorod from 1663 with an introduction, commentary and translation into Czech. In this publication, Pessina appeals to the rulers of the Christian West to unite in the fight against the Turks and to help the invaded Hungary. This appeal has many similarities with Ukrainian President Zelensky’s calls to unite the West and help Ukraine against the aggression of the Russian Federation in 2022.
