Intersubjektivita je sdílení něčeho mezi subjekty. Ve filosofii se tento pojem nejběžněji zařazuje do kontextu epistemologie: za intersubjektivní je považováno to, co není subjektivní v tom smyslu, že by to bylo uzavřeno v mysli jednoho subjektu, ale zároveň to není objektivní v tom smyslu, že by to bylo nezávislé na existenci subjektů. Je tu ale i smysl slova „intersubjektivita”, který má co dělat s jistou rezonancí, ke které může dojít, když se dva subjekty propojí určitým speciálním způsobem, tak jako elektrody obloukové lampy. Taková rezonance je podstatná z hlediska psychologie. V tomto textu se nejprve věnujeme tomu „filosofickému” smyslu slova „intersubjektivita” a poté obracíme pozornost k onomu “psychologickému” smyslu, přitom se dobíráme toho, že tyto dva smysly jsou provázány úžeji, než by se na první pohled zdálo.

The meaning of intersubjectivity is the sharing of something between subjects. In philosophy, this concept is usually encountered within the context of epistemology: intersubjective is that which is not subjective in the sense that it would be contained only within the mind of an individual subject, but at the same time it is not objective in the sense that it would be independent of the existence of any subjects. There is, however, also another sense of “intersubjectivity” that has to do with a certain resonance, which may occur when two subjects come to interconnect in a certain specific way, as electrodes of an are lamp. This kind of resonance is significant from the viewpoint of psychology. In this text we first focus on the “philosophical” sense of the word “intersubjectivity” and then we turn our attention to the “psychological” sense, and we find (out) that the two senses are interconnected in a closer way then it would seem at first sight.
