Informační systém Archeologická mapa České republiky (AMČR) integruje dvě základní oblasti správy archeologického dědictví ČR. Na jedné straně jde o oborový agendový systém, který má zajistit průběžnou administrativní evidenci připravovaných i probíhajících terénních výzkumů a umožnit tak efektivní kontrolu jejich kvality a následného zpracování do podoby nálezové zprávy. Na druhé straně jde o budování souhrnného přehledu archeologického dědictví ČR, tedy o vytvoření „národní“ databáze archeologického kulturního dědictví. Oba úkoly spolu v mnoha ohledech souvisejí, a jejich spojení proto je pro uživatele výhodné: vzniká jím jednotný systém evidence klíčových informací využitelných v celé šíři archeologické terénní, památkové a v některých ohledech i muzejní práce. Workshop zahrnoval seznámení profesionálních archeologů s užíváním systému, detailní ukázku fungování a praktické rady přizpůsobené potřebám žadatelské organizace. Workshop proběhl na vyžádání Muzea Novojičínska, příspěvkové organizace.

Information system of the Archaeological Map of the Czech Republic (AMCR) integrates two basic areas of archaeological heritage management in the Czech Republic. On the one hand, it is a sectoral agendas system to ensure ongoing administrative records of upcoming and ongoing fieldworks to enable effective control of their quality and subsequent processing into the excavation report. On the other hand, it is about building a comprehensive overview of the archaeological heritage of the Czech Republic, i.e. creating a “national” archaeological cultural heritage database. Both tasks are related in many respects, and their connections are therefore beneficial to the user: they create a unified system of key information that can be used throughout the archaeological field, heritage and, in some respects, museum work. The workshop included the familiarization of professional archaeologists with the use of the system , a detailed practical demonstration with regard to specific needs of requesting organisation. The workshop was organized on request by the Museum of Nový Jičín region.
