Software ALMA Corrimag.
Internal code: 15/2021 ; 2021
Technical parameters: Programovací jazyk: Python 3.8. Knihovny: numpy, matplotlib, scipy, scikit-image, imageio, pandas.

The ALMA Corrimag program is designed for image analysis of elemental maps obtained by MA-XRF spectroscopy or SEM-EDS microscopy. It compares pairs of elemental maps and looks for their degree of correlation - the common occurrence of elements, e.g. contained in the same pigment or substrate material. The results are stored in an XLSX spreadsheet file that lists the Pearson correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and regression coefficients for each pair of maps. Another output is a correlation matrix showing the 2D histograms of the pairs of feature maps and the overlays of the maps in the RGB image.
