Článek se zabývá historií oficiálních vlajek na Tchaj-wanu v průběhu 17. – 20. století: v období španělské, holandské nadvlády, za vlády dynastie Čching, období japonské a i některými nezávislými státy na Tchaj-wanu, a také vlajkami a symboly hnutí za nezávislý Tchaj-wan na přelomu 20. a 21. století.

The article deals with the history of official flags in Taiwan during the 17th – 20th centuries: Spanish, Dutch, Qing Dynasty, Japanese occupation period and some independent polities and also with the flags and symbols of the movement for independent Taiwan in the break of 20th and 21st centuries.
