Kapitola v knize shrnuje nejnovější poznatky terénního výzkumu gotické sakrální architektury 14. století v hradeckém archidiakonátu. Zabývá se především vztahy mezi formou vesnických kostelů a vývojem společnosti ve starší době lucemburské. S přihlédnutím k širšímu kontextu, zvláště k dění ve Slezsku, poprvé souhrnně formuluje názor na vazbu mezi politickými i náboženskými proměnami společnosti a podobou vybraných jednotlivých 27 staveb ve východočeském teritoriu.

The chapter in the book summarizes the latest findings of field research of Gothic sacral architecture of the 14th century in the Hradec Králové archdeaconry. He deals mainly with the relationship between the form of village churches and the development of society in the early Luxembourg period (1310–1378). Taking into account the broader context, especially the events in Silesia, for the first time it formulates an opinion on the link between political and religious changes in society and the appearance of selected individual 27 buildings in East Bohemia.
