Wind power or wind energy is the use of wind turbines to generate electricity. Wind power is a popular, sustainable, renewable energy source that has a much smaller impact on the environment than burning fossil fuels. The disadvantage of a wind farm is that it produces noise, can endanger birds and its dependence on the speed and direction of the wind.

Větrná elektrárna využívá větrných turbín k výrobě elektřiny. Větrná energie je populární, udržitelný, obnovitelný zdroj energie, který má mnohem menší dopad na životní prostředí než spalování fosilních paliv. Nevýhodou větrné elektrárny je, že produkuje hluk, může ohrožovat ptáky a její závislost na aktuální síle a směru větru.
