    The Conceptual Design Review (CDR) of the electric probes based diagnostics for the COMPASS Upgrade tokamak was held in IPP Prague on March 25, 2021.

    The CDR panel consisted of leading foreign experts in related fields, chaired by Dr. Carlos Silva from Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear (Portugal). The aim of the meeting was to review the conceptual design of the set of electric probe diagnostics and manipulators, consisting of the probes embedded in limiters, of the divertor probes, of the horizontal manipulator, of the X-point manipulator and the divertor manipulator. These diagnostic tools will be used for the physics research of the edge plasma of the COMPASS Upgrade tokamak.
