Příspěvek prezentuje iniciační období emigrace Oty Filipa (1930-2018) ve Spolkové republice Německo (1974-1980) v kontextu spisovatelových mediačních aktivit mezi českou a německou literaturou. Případ emigrace Oty Filipa je pozorován z perspektivy kulturně-politické situace, ve které spisovatel opustil Československo v roku 1974, a zároveň z úhlu pohledu literárních vztahů s osobnostmi německého literárního dění, které přispěly rychlému zahájení kulturní, literární a publicistické činnosti v cílové zemi. Sledování těchto trajektorií vychází z analýzy archivních materiálů pocházejících z Archivu bezpečnostních složek a Filipovy dobové literárně-publicistické produkce. V tom kontextu se příspěvek zaměří i na neúspěšný pokus propagování literární tvorby Josefa Fraise (1946-2013) Filipem, který poslouží jako ukázka limitů zprostředkovatelského procesu.

The paper presents the initiation period of Ota Filip's emigration (1930-2018) in the Federal Republic of Germany (1974-1980) in the context of the writer's mediation activities between Czech and German literature. The case of Ota Filip's emigration is observed from the perspective of the cultural and political situation in which the writer left Czechoslovakia in 1974, and from the perspective of literary relations with German literary mediators who contributed to the rapid start of cultural, literary, and journalistic activities in the destination country. The tracking of these trajectories is based on an analysis of archival materials originating from the State Security Archive and Filip's period literary-publicist production. In this context, the paper will also focus on the unsuccessful attempt to promote the literary work of Josef Frais (1946-2013) by Filip and will serve as an example of the limits of the mediation process.
