ZÁKLADNÍ ÚDAJE: Přednáška přednesená v rámci akce Konzultační setkání řešitelů vybraných výzkumných projektů v oblasti adaptace hl. m. Prahy na klimatickou změnu. Prezentace. Praha, 2021. [02.12.2021-02.12.2021, Praha]. ABSTRAKT: Město v čase klimatické změny - jedna z nejaktuálnějších a patrně nejsložitějších výzev, které musí místní samosprávy čelit. Ačkoli v poslední době vzniklo velké množství adaptačních strategií a klimatických plánů, mají mnohé společný výsledek, nejjednodušší a ekonomicky nejvýhodnější řešení představuje městská zeleň. Zeleň ve veřejném prostoru je vnímána jako zásadní prvek tváře měst a její vlastnosti jsou veřejností automaticky přijímány jako pozitivní. Negativní vlivy zeleně v městském prostoru, mimo případné alergie, v úvahách urbanistů prakticky nejsou vůbec reflektovány. Ovlivnění prostředí stromy v ulicích měst, a to jak pozitivní, tak i negativní. Příspěvek vysvětluje a shrnuje poznatky jak o pozitivních, tak i negativních vlivech zeleně v uličním prostoru.

The city in a time of climate change - one of the most current and arguably most complex challenges facing local governments. Although a large number of adaptation strategies and climate plans have been developed recently, many have a common outcome, urban green spaces are the simplest and most cost-effective solution. Greenery in the public realm is perceived as an essential element of the face of cities and its qualities are automatically accepted by the public as positive. The negative effects of greenery in urban space, apart from possible allergies, are practically not reflected at all in the considerations of urban planners. The influence of trees on the environment in urban streets, both positive and negative. This paper explains and summarizes the findings on both positive and negative influences of greenery in street space.
