Studie se zabývá jednou z klíčových period českých a středoevropských raně novověkých dějin – povstáním českých stavů proti Habsburkům 1618-1620 – se zvláštním zřetelem k rozdílným konfesijně a politicky podmíněným výkladům bitvy na Bílé hoře, které se objevily v českém prostředí při 400. výročí porážky jedinečného pokusu o reorganizaci střední Evropy bez Habsburků.

The article deals with one of key periods in Czech and Central European early modern histrory – the revolt of Bohemian Estates against Habsburgs in 1618-1620 and especially with different confessional and political interpretations of the Battle of White Mountain in the Czech milieu on the occasion of the 400th anniversary (1620-2020) of the defeat of a unique attempt to re-organize Central Europe regardless of Habsburgs.
