The workshop offers four presentations on the early, Austrian, phase of the development of phenomenology. The topics cover Husserl’s early views on Christian religion (Varga), Husserl’s and Brentano’s relation to Hume (Janoušek) and metaphysics (Rollinger) and Brentano’s view of self-consciousness (Fréchette).
