An interdisciplinary international annual conference “Philosophy and Social Science”, held on-line (ZOOM) by the Institute of Philosophy at the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, dealt with contemporary and important themes of philosophy and social science. This year, it focused on these mutually interlinked themes: (1) Representation, Participation, Deliberation, (2) Value and Values: Critical Economy, (3) Activism and Agency, (4) Nature, (5) Configurations of Community. It was organized by the Centre of Global Studies of the Institute of Philosophy CAS in co-operation with foreign colleagues, especially from Germany, Italy, Ireland, USA, and Mexico. All lectures, sessions, and discussions were in the English language.
