Stať představuje byzantskou liturgii pohledem disciplíny sensorial studies, s jejíž pomocí rekonstruuje prožitek účastníka byzantské liturgie kolem roku 1000. Za tímto účelem využívá nejvýznamnější písemné prameny, archeologické objekty a umělecké artefakty.
The article presents the Byzantine liturgy around the year 1000, applying the methodology of the sensorial studies. The paper attempts at reconstructing the sensory experience of the Byzantine participant at a liturgy, focusing on the evidence of literature, archaeology and art.
