Pressure study of the Ni2MnSn-based alloys revealed divergent values of the pressure induced decrease of magnetization within a group of off-stoichiometric alloys. The pressure induced increase of temperature of martensitic transformation in the alloys is adequate for volume changes that accompany the martensitic transformation. The observed pressure effects are discussed with help of quantum-mechanical calculations of magnetism in Ni2MnSn alloy with multiple point-defects.
