Abdolkarím Sorúš: Abdolkarím Sorúš je jedním z nejvýznamnějších současných íránských filozofů, jehož dílo je diskutováno v muslimském světě, na Západě i mimo něj. Kniha představuje Sorúšovo dílo prostřednictvím překladů pěti klíčových textů zaměřených na jeho filozofii náboženství a politickou filozofii: 1. Expanze a kontrakce náboženského poznání, 2. Expanze prorocké zkušenosti, 3. Kam směřuje náboženství v moderní době, 4. Mléko a cukr: O důvodech náboženského intelektualismu, a pátý, Radikální sekularismus. Úvod napsala Zora Hesová, vědecká pracovnice Centra globálních studií Filosofického ústavu Akademie věd ČR v Praze. Překlad prvních dvou textů pořídila Zora Hesová, dalších tří Magdalena Bánská.
Abdolkarim Sorush: Religion, Modernity and Secularism in Contemporary Iranian Philosophy Abdolkarim Sorush is one of the most important contemporary Iranian philosophers whose work is discussed in the Muslim world, in the West and beyond. The book presents Sorush’s work by translations of five key texts focused on his philosophy of religion and political philosophy: first - Expansion and contraction of religious knowledge, second - Expansion of prophetic experience, third - Where is religion heading in modern times?, fourth - Milk and Sugar: On the reason for religious intellectualism, and fifth - Radical secularism. An introduction was written by Zora Hesová, a research fellow at the Center of Global Studies, Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The translation of the first two texts was made by Zora Hesová and of the three other ones by Magdalena Bánská.
