This contribution presents the detailed results of observation and analysis by SEM/EDS of thirty representative medieval dress ornaments recovered in Prague. Four main types of base material were used to manufacture the investigated artefacts: copper base alloys, silver alloys, iron and pewter. Both hard and soft solders were evidenced. Tinning and fire gilding were further identified on several pieces.
