Článek se zabývá spisem Adamas colluctancium aquilarum, který Winand ze Steegu, právník a dvořan krále Zikmunda, dokončil roku 1419. Zkoumá autorovy návrhy na řešení výzev souvisejících s nedokončenou reformou církve a vzestupem husitského hnutí. Zabývá se přitom zdroji Winandova myšlení i jeho názory na politické uspořádání a na vztah duchovní a světské moci.

The article deals with the writing Adamas colluctancium aquilarum, completed in 1419 by Winand of Steeg, a lawyer and courtier of King Sigismund of Luxembourg. It examines the author’s proposals for a solution to the challenges resulting from the abortive Church reform and from the rise of the Hussite movement. It looks for the sources of Winand’s thought and discusses his views concerning political order and the relationsips between the spiritual and temporal powers.
