    Paper summarized the contribution of non-destructive geophysical surveys to archaeological research of large early medieval hillfort Tismice in Central Bohemia during archaeological project. Geophysical results were compared with aerial photographs, Lidar, surface archaeological and metal detector surveys and also subsequent archaeological excavation by trenches.
