Among the buildings that have been associated with the new concept of social life of the Prague Castle elite since the 17th century, there was also pheasantry, existing between 1606 and 1757. Archaeological research located part of the house where partridges were kept and part of an outdoor enclosure. The interior furnishing surprisingly did not differ from a normal residential building. The discovery of fragments of Chinese porcelain, which were not expected in this social environment, was significant.
