A new silver(I) complex formulated as [Ag(μ-amp)(ONO2)]n (amp = 2-aminopyrimidine) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Its thermal stability was studied by TGA/DTA. Antibacterial activities were studied by determining minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC).
