Materiálový průzkum deskové malby ze sbírky Oblastního muzea a galerie v Mostě byl proveden neinvazivně (IRreflektografie, vysokorozlišovací RTG snímkování a MA-XRF maping) a následně doplněn odběrem mikrovzorků .Výsledkem byla celá řada nových poznatků týkající se technologické výstavby obrazu (např. použití fluoritu v tmavé podmalbě pod azuritem), prokazujících specifika a zvyklosti tvorby autora díla - Mistra I. W. Výzkum odhalil autorské úpravy a významně obohatil znalosti o tvorbě malířů cranachovského okruhu a jejich následovníků.

Materials research of the panel painting from the collection of the Regional Museum and Gallery in Most was carriedout non-invasively (IR reflectography, high-resolution X-ray radiography, and MA-XRF mapping) and subsequently supplemented by taking micro samples. The result was a number of new findings concerning the technological construction of the painting (e.g. the use of fluorite in dark underpainting under azurite), proving the specifics andhabits of the work of the author - Master I. W. The research revealed the author's modifications and significantlyenriched the knowledge about the work of painters of the Cranach circle and their followers.
