Druhý díl edice korespondence univerzitního profesora Aloise Musila (1868–1944) je věnován vzájemnému písemnému styku tohoto význačného orientalisty se zemědělským ekonomem Edvardem Reichem (1885–1943). V jejich dopisech můžeme sledovat utváření Musilových sociálních sítí v oblasti politické, jeho sepětí s agrární stranou a prostřednictvím Edvarda Reicha s ministerstvem zemědělství. Sociální interakce obou aktérů se neomezovala pouze na pracovní záležitosti, ale zahrnovala též odbornou a publikační činnost, společné trávení volného času, pobyty na letních bytech a rodinné vztahy.

The second volume of the edition of the correspondence of the university professor Alois Musil (1868–1944) is devoted to the mutual written contact of this outstanding orientalist with the agricultural economist Edvard Reich (1885–1943). In their letters we can trace the formation of Musil’s social networks in the political sphere, his links with the Agrarian Party and, through Edvard Reich, with the Ministry of Agriculture. The social interaction between the two actors was not limited to work matters, but also included professional and publishing activities, spending leisure time together, summer apartment stays, and family relations.
