The publication deals with the possibilities of caring for historic buildings and authentic building elements. It combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional technological methods that can be applied to the restoration and conservation of historic mortars, sgraffito and stucco. It shows the importance of understanding original materials and techniques in the conservation of building and artistic monuments.
