The qualitative research presented in this book is based on 56 interviews with women entrepreneurs, which are in specific situations (women graduates, women shortly after parental leave, women aged 55+ and migrant women). The aim of this book and research was to show, that the general perception of entrepreneurship - as an activity leading to profit - is not achievable for all entrepreneurs. It is visible in the narratives of women from one of the 4 groups. Their narratives show, for example, that entrepreneurship is often one of the last ways to be economically independent during care of young children or in pre-retirement age. Their narratives also show how financially unstable entrepreneurship can be, and how gender dynamics in family / partnerships offers support and / or limit the opportunities for women to expand their business. The book also includes summaries from three expert analyses (analysis of tax, analysis of legislative and analysis of good practices) as well as specific recommendations for public / state administratio
