Staťja posvjaščena probleme intellektualizma v koncepcii matematiki Akvinskogo. Snačala my objasnjaem, čto takoe intellektualizm, a zatem utverždaem, čto v rabote Akvinskogo my možem različiť dva nesovmestimych ponjatija matematiki. Soglasno pevomu, matematika – eto nastojaščaja teoretičeskaja nauka, kotoraja pomogaet nam uznať božestvennye idei, soglasno kotorym On sozdal naš materiaĺnyj mir. Sleduja vtoromu ponjatiju, matematika – ne teoretičeskaja nauka, a skoree iskusstvo. My prišli k vyvodu, čto pervaja koncepcija javno intellektualistskaja, a vtoroj podchod k matematike intellektualistskij toĺko po analogii.

The paper deals with the problem of intellectualism in Aquinas’s concept of mathematics. We first explain what an intellectualism is and then argue that in Aquinas work we can distinguish two mutually incompatible concepts of mathematics. According to the first one mathematics is a real theoretical science that helps us to know Divine ideas according to which He created our material world. Per the second concept mathematics is not a theoretical science but
rather an art. We conclude that the first concept is clearly an intellectualism while the second approach to mathematics is intellectualistic only by analogy.
