Pandemie koronaviru ovlivnila každého z nás, ženy ale v celé řadě oblastí zasáhla více než muže. Jednou z příčin je aspekt typický pro mnohé ženské životy – role primární pečovatelky o blízké, vzdělání dětí i starost o domácnost. Celostátní karanténa tak v soukromých životech českých žen vystupňovala tlak, a to nejen v souvislosti s celodenní starostí o děti při práci, zajištění domácí výuky, ale i nárůstu domácího násilí či jarního zákazu přítomnosti otců u porodu.


The coronavirus pandemic affected each and every one of us, but women were more affected than men in many areas. One of the reasons is an aspect typical for many women's lives - the role of the primary caregiver for loved ones, the education of children and the care of the household. The nationwide quarantine thus intensified the pressure in the private lives of Czech women, not only in connection with all-day care for children at work, the provision of home education, but also the increase in domestic violence and the spring ban on fathers' presence at childbirth.
