Studie se zabývá obrazem šlechty v marxistické historiografii. Tento obraz se nevytvářel na základě reálné role šlechty, ale především na základě širších dějinných konceptů. Studie podrobně sleduje, jak se utvářel narativ o její údajné nestátvornosti, špatném vztahu k obyvatelstvu a negativním postoji k husitské revoluci.

The study deals with the image of the nobility in Marxist historiography. This image was not created on the basis of the actual role of the nobility, but above all on the basis of broader historical concepts. The study examines in detail the formation of the narrative of the nobility’s alleged anti-state position, as well as its negative attitude towards the population and the Hussite revolution.
