Článek pojednává o česky a latinsky psaných dedikacích v bohemikálních tiscích vydaných v letech 1501-1620, získaných na základě rešerší dvou databází – BCBT a Knihopisu. Autoři se zamýšlejí nad sociální, historickou a ekonomickou funkcí těchto dedikací, zkoumají také jejich formální stránku a spojitost s knihou.

The article deals with dedications written in Czech and Latin in Bohemian prints published in the years 1501-1620, obtained on the basis of searches of two databases - BCBT and Knihopis. The authors reflect on the social, historical and economic functions of these dedications, and also examine their formal side and connection with the book.
