Kniha předkládá kritické vydání textu Korunovačního řádu Karla IV. na základě všech osmi dochovaných českých rukopisných pramenů. Dále obsahuje pět odborných statí, které zasazují editované dílo do historického kontextu, zabývají se dochováním a datací jednotlivých rukopisů, věnují se výtvarné výzdobě Korunovačního řádu Karla IV., charakterizují jazyk staročeského překladu a analyzují vztah českého znění k latinské předloze.

The book presents a critical edition of the text of Charles IV´s Coronation Rules on the basis of all eight preserved Czech manuscripts. It also contains five professional articles that place the edited work in a historical context, deal with the preservation and dating of individual manuscripts, deal with the artistic decoration of Charles IV´s Coronation Rules, characterize the language of Old Czech translation and analyze the relationship of the Czech translation to the Latin version.
