Příspěvek je věnován analýze jazyka a stylu přípisků, které vlastní rukou zapsal do Kalendáře historického (Praha, Jiří Melantrich z Aventina st. 1570, exemplář benediktinské knihovny v Rajhradě, sign. R G. I. dd 5) Samuel Adam z Veleslavína (15. 4. 1592 – po 1641), syn pražského tiskaře Daniela Adama z Veleslavína (1546–1599). Samuel Adam po smrti rodičů provozoval tiskařskou dílnu, avšak pro účast ve stavovském povstání a bitvě na Bílé hoře (1620) byl nucen odejít do exilu a nepřítomnosti byl odsouzen k smrti. Samuel v přípiscích z let 1612 a 1616 informoval o svých zásnubách a svatbě s Annou Rozínovou z Javorníka a o narození dcery. V přípiscích jsme v nižších jazykových rovinách nezaznamenali jevy, které by neodpovídaly stavu jazyka na počátku 17. století. Výjimkou je stránka ortografická, kde bychom očekávali, že pisatel nebude užívat spřežky u záznamu minuskulí pro hlásky ř, č a c. V rovině syntaktické a lexikální nalézáme jevy, které ne vždy odpovídají jazykovému systému češtiny, resp. nejsou v centru jazykového systému. Stylisticky působí přípisky neuměle, snad pro to, že se v nich střetává osobní, emotivně zabarvený obsah se strohou, informativní formou analistických záznamů.

This paper is concerned with the language and stylistic analyses of the handwritten text that Samuel Adam of Veleslavín (15.4.1592–past 1641), Prague publisher Daniel Adam of Veleslavín’s (1546–1599) son, added to Historical Calendar (Prague, Jiří Melantrich z Aventina st. 1570, exemplar located in the Benedictine library in Rajhrad, call number R G. I. dd 5). After his parents’ death, Samuel Adam continued the operation of the printing workshop. However, due to his participation in the Bohemian estates uprising and in the battle of Bílá hora (White Mountain) (1620), he was forced to go into exile and, upon his absence, was sentenced to death. In the text added in 1612 and 1616, Samuel informed of his engagement and wedding with Anna Rozínová of Javorník and of their daughter’s birth. We do not notice any phenomena nonconforming to the state of the language at the beginning of the 17th century. The exception is the orthographic aspect: we would not expect the writer to have used ligatures to record the ř, č and c minuscules. In terms of syntax and lexicon, we distinguish elements nonconforming to the Czech language state at that time or, more precisely, that were not in the center of the existing language system. The handwritten additions feel stylistically awkward, perhaps because the personal, emotionally charged content clashes with the austere, informative form typical for chronicler records.
