The chapter presents the fundamental problems of Hussite radicalism, its apocalyptic, or rather the chiliastic background in the first place. The apocalyptically defined theological and historical concepts influenced the Hussite radical thinking. The chapter focuses on the sources and the impact of the apocalyptic visions which shaped the first phase of the Hussite revolution.
