Úcta či jen vědomí o životě a díle Jana Husa v prvních letech po jeho smrti jsou doložitelné mezi laiky i duchovními. Unikátním dokladem o této rané fázi jsou fragmenty register absolucí vedených od r. 1421 členy pražské kapituly v Žitavě. Jejich obsah je vyhodnocen ve studii.

Respect for, or at least awareness of, the life and works of Jan Hus in the years immediately after his death can be attested among both the laity and the clergy. Unique evidence of this early phase come from fragments of a register of absolutions kept from 1421 by members of the Prague Chapter at Zittau. Their content is evaluated in the study.
