Cílem konference bylo představit Františka Schmoranze st. v kontextu dobových názorů na architektonickou tvorbu a ochranu památek a ukázat na neudržitelnost některých zjednodušení, která v souvislosti s hodnocením jeho aktivit stále přetrvávají.
The aim of the conference was to introduce František Schmoranz st. in the context of contemporary views on the architectural creation and protection of monuments and to show the unsustainability of some simplifications that still persist in connection with the evaluation of its activities.
