Hlavním posláním tohoto manuálu je podpořit zapojení občanů a obecně veřejnosti do zlepšení připravenosti místních společenství a obcí na krizové situace, zejména na přírodní pohromy. Poskytuje rady laickým uživatelům, například vlastníkům objektů a předmětů kulturního dědictví, jak zkoumat a posuzovat zranitelnost jejich majetku a umožňuje odhalit kritické nedostatky, které mohou být ošetřeny tak, aby se snížily dopady katastrofických událostí.


The main aim of this Manual is to endorse the involvement of citizens and the general public in ensuring better prepadness of local communities concerned with crisis situations, in particular natural disasters. It provides advice to lay users, such as heritage owners, on how to inspect and assess the vulnerability of their properties while enabling them to identify criticalities that can be treated to reduce the impact of catostrophic events.
