Článek analyzuje soubor raně novověkého skla z výplně jímky z první poloviny 17. století objeveného v souvislosti s výstavbou nákupního centra Quadrio na Novém Městě v Praze. Mezi jinými artefakty bylo v jímce nalezeno torzo poháru s erbem pražské erbovní měšťanské rodiny Kirchmayerů z Reichwitz. Kromě popisu nálezového kontextu doplněného krátkým historickým přehledem stavebního vývoje zkoumaného území a místních vlastnických vztahů je pozornost věnována datování vzniku nálezů a chronologii jejich používání na základě srovnání různých typů historických pramenů. Zachovaný erb na skleněném poháru jako takový poskytuje pohled do historie privilegované pražské erbovní měšťanské rodiny, jejíž členové se na počátku 17. století angažovali v obchodní sféře, náboženském životě i na nejvyšších postech správy Starého Města pražského.

The article analyses an assemblage of Early Modern glass from the fill of a cesspit from the first half of the 17th century discovered in connection with the construction of the Quadrio Shopping Centre in Prague New Town. Among other artefacts, the cesspit contained an armorial beaker of the Kirchmayer of Reichwitz family from Prague. In addition to a description of the find context supplemented with a short historical overview of the construction development of the studied area and the local ownership relationships, attention is paid to the absolute chronology of the creation and circulation of finds based on a comparison of various types of historical sources. As such, the preserved coat of arms on the glass beaker provides a view into the history of a privileged Prague burgher family, several members of which were actors in the political history of Prague Old Town administration at the beginning of the 17th century.
