Kapitola pojednává o otázkách spojených s právní regulací umělé inteligence. Popisuje historický kontext vztahu práva a problematiky umělé inteligence a poskytuje přehled o tom, jak se zájem o témata související s umělou inteligencí v odborné literatuře vyvíjel v jednotlivých dekádách až do současnosti. Stručně zmiňuje i přístup mezinárodního společenství a Evropské unie k regulaci umělé inteligence. Následně se kapitola věnuje analýze jednotlivých soukromoprávních režimů odpovědnosti ve vztahu k autonomním systémům a v závěru identifikuje vybrané problémy týkající se ochrany soukromí, zpracování údajů, či ochrany lidské důstojnosti a naznačuje možný vývoj do budoucna.

The chapter focuses on questions related to the legal regulation of artificial intelligence. It describes the historical context of the relationship between law and artificial intelligence. It provides an overview of how AI-related topics have developed in the professional literature within individual decades up until now. The chapter also briefly mentions the approach of the international community and of the European Union to the regulation of artificial intelligence. Subsequently, the chapter provides an analysis of individual private liability regimes with regard to autonomous systems. Finally, the chapter identifies selected issues related to privacy, data processing, or human dignity protection and suggests possible developments in the future.
