Presentation of the fragment of linen in a plain weave. Preserved on its reverse side was a painting consisting of a thin layer of different coloured distemper in black, white, red, blue and brown. It depicts the head of a falcon on a black and brown background. The motif of the falcon depicted on the cloth refers to Horus, the Ancient Egyptian god of the sky, sun and light. The woven fabric was part of the textile bandaging of the mummified body from the 8th and 7th centuries BC.
