První část příspěvku se zabývá tím, jak Jan Mukařovský pracoval s pojmem sloh (styl), a naznačuje vývoj od jeho díla přes studie Karla Hausenblase až k současné stylistice. Ve druhé části jsou zdůrazněny některé inspirativní myšlenky J. Mukařovského, na něž navazují především současné stylistické analýzy dialogu a mluvených projevů. Část třetí napojuje na tyto inspirace některé cíle a dezideráta dnešní stylistiky: věnovat zvýšenou pozornost stylu dialogů, mluvených projevů, jejich interaktivní výstavbě, kontextovému a intertextovému zapojení, dynamickým proměnám vztahů mezi projevy mluvenými a psanými. Část čtvrtá pak nabízí ukázky čtyř běžných každodenních dialogů.

The first part of the article discusses how Jan Mukařovský worked with the concept of style and analyses the development of stylistics as it moved from Mukařovský through the studies of Karel Hausenblas to contemporary stylistics. The second part of the article accentuates where Jan Mukařovský´s ideas can be linked mainly to contemporary stylistic analysis of dialogue and spoken utterance. The third part connects all these inspirations with the goals of contemporary stylistics: that deal increasingly with dialogue styles, styles of spoken utterance, their interactive structures, contextual and intertextual links, dynamic transformations of relationships between the expressions uttered and written. The fourth part then provides the examples of four common everyday dialogues.
