In this work, the effect of addition of synthetic layered silicates Laponites, alumina, graphene and corrosion inhibitor on thermal conductivity and viscosity of water and 40% monoethylene glycol was studied. It was found that the contributions of the individual components do not have an additive effect. In some combinations, the interaction is completely unpredictable. It is therefore necessary to search for an optimal recipe using a comprehensive approach where the properties are compared for the selected mixtures as a whole.
