This chapter presents the elaboration of data collected from the observation of the Chelyabinsk meteor of February 15, 2013. The recovered meteorites are not unusual, but the bolide brightness and the strength of the blast wave indicated that Chelyabinsk witnessed the largest impact of a cosmic body since the Tunguska event in 1908. Fortunately for science, this time the event was well documented. Additional information comes from the distribution and properties of the meteorites and from the effects of the blast wave.
