In cooperation with colleagues from Psychiatric department of General hospital in Prague we are trying to analyse the potential involvement of microbiota and immune reaction in pathogenesis of the disease by microbiota analysis and to elucidate their role in autoantibody production. Moreover, by dietary interventions and using fecal microbiota transfer we are manipulating the microbiota in efforts to find microbioa components whose administration would aid in disease prevention and treatment.
