Výstava přibližuje historické rámce a pamětnické perspektivy sametové revoluce roku 1989. Její časový záběr (s dílčími a nezbytnými kontextovými přesahy) pokrývá události od studentských demonstrací 17. listopadu, přes studentskou a divadelní stávku a vznik Občanského fóra, až po zvolení dramatika, bývalého disidenta a opozičního vůdce Václava Havla prezidentem na konci prosince 1989.

The exhibition focuses on the historical frameworks and witnessing perspectives of the Velvet Revolution of 1989. Its time lapse (with partial and necessary contextual overlaps) covers events ranging from student demonstrations on November 17th, through student and theater strikes and the establishment of the Civic Forum to election of playwright, former dissident and of the opposition leader Václav Havel by the president at the end of December 1989.
