Die vorliegende Studie beschäftigt sich in einer komparativen Perspektive mit verschiedenen Formen von Bildungsmäzenatentum in den vormodernen Städten. Aufgrund der Analyse von mehreren Quellenarten sie verfolgt das Mäzenatentum als eine spezifische Form von der Kommunikation.

The submitted study deals in comparative perspective with various forms of educational patronage in Pre-Modern towns. Based on an analysis of different source types it follows the patronage as a special mean of communication.
