Cíl této studie je vyhodnotit krátký a neúspěšný pokus západoevropského socialistického hnutí, II. Socialistické internacionály (Amsterodam) a II ½ Internacionály (Vídeň), aby byla otevřena cesta ke spolupráci s moskevskou Komunistickou internacionálou. Jejich reprezentanti se sešli krátce v dubnu 1922 v Berlíně, výsledek však přinesl rozčarování. Výkonný výbor Kominterny, jakož i vedení sovětského Ruska nebyli příliš zainteresování na spolupráci se západními socialisty.


The aim of this study is to appraise the short and unsuccesful stage of attempts by western European socialist movements, Second Socialist (Amsterdam) a II ½ International (Vienna) to open way to cooperation with Moscow based Communist International. Their representatives met short in April 1922 in Berlin, but result was disappointing. Executive of Comintern as well as the leadership of Soviet Russia were not very interested in cooperation with western socialist.
