Článek se věnuje okolnostem kulturního kontaktu mezi domorodci z Andamanských ostrovů (konkrétně ostrova Sentinel) a západní civilizací. Diskutuje obecné i specifické rysy místní kultury. Za klíčové považuje podstatu spirituálních představ místních obyvatel.
The article deals with the circumstances of cultural contact between the natives of the Andaman Islands (Sentinel Island in particular) and western civilization. It discusses general and specific features of local culture. It considers the essence of the spiritual ideas of local people to be crucial.
