This short paper provides a translation of the logic AXM, introduced in [7] for reasoning about probabilities, into the logic FP(Ł4). The latter is a modal fuzzy logic with two syntactical layers: the lower one governed by classical logic and the upper one by Lukasiewicz logic extended with the projection connective 4. We also survey other logics for reasoning about uncertainty in the literature and hint at how they can benefit from a reformulation in terms of two-layered modal fuzzy logics.
