Poznámky na fol. 195r rukopisu pražské Národní knihovny I. D. 12, jež si někdy ve školním roce 1458-1459 zapsal Václav z Chrudimě, vlastník kodexu a písař řady jeho položek, umožňují nahlédnout do učiva studentů a bakalářů pražské univerzity. Mistr Václav doložený v letech 1459–1470 si pro svoji potřebu opsal na 50 knih a učebních pomůcek zaměřených na gramatiku, rétoriku a logiku. Jelikož řada knih mu nebyla dostupných, snažil si je vypůjčit z pražských kolejních knihoven. Některé tituly nebyly na místě, a proto si mistr Václav vedle jejich signatur poznamenal i jména kolegů, kteří si je vypůjčili. Četné tyto signatury lze nalézt v rejstříku knih náležejících knihovně Rečkovy koleje.

Notes in the Ms. I. D. 12 of the National Library of the Czech Republic provide a glimpse into how the students and bachelors of Prague used to obtain study materials. The notes were recorded by Master Wenceslas of Chrudim (documented from 1459 to 1470), who compiled for his own use a list of about 50 books and study materials focused on grammar, rhetoric, and logic. As only a small portion of copies was available to him, he tried to borrow the missing titles from college libraries in Prague. A number of those titles had been already lent out, so Master Wenceslas put down not only the signatures, but also the names of the colleagues from whom he could get them. Several of the signatures can be found in the Records of Reček College Library.
