Příspěvek zkoumá konsonantický subsystém Kralické bible šestidílné (1579-1594), vrcholu českého reformačního humanismu. Analýza konsonantismu vychází ze srovnání se stavem v současné spisovné češtině. Pomocí příkladů jsou doloženy fonetické a fonologické změny mezi těmito dvěma synchronními průřezy, a to od promítnutí pračeských depalatalizací. Dále jsou zkoumány dopady staročeských depalatalizací, rozlišování dvojího l, protetické v, hiátové souhlásky a další změny v proudu řeči jako epenteze, asimilace, neetymologická geminace atd. Při srovnání je zohledněn dobový úzus, Blahoslavovy názory vyslovené v jeho gramatice, dokončené r. 1571, a čeština Komenského.

The contribution explores in detail the consonantal subsystem of the Six-Volume Kralice Bible (1579–1594), the peak of Czech Reformation biblical humanism. The analysis of consonantism is undertaken especially with respect to a comparison with present-day Standard Czech. Diachronic phonetical and phonological changes, resulting in differences between the two synchronic stages, are exemplified, beginning with the Early Czech depalatalizations. Furthermore, Old Czech depalatalization processes, two kinds of l (l/ł), prothetic v-, hiatus consonants and other changes in the flow of speech – such as inserting a consonant, omitting a consonant, assimilation and dissimilation and consonant gemination – are analyzed. When assessing the consonantism of the Six-Volume Kralice Bible, the author takes into consideration the period production, Jan Blahoslav’s opinions voiced in his grammar of Czech completed in 1571 and the language usage of John Amos Comenius.
